British Salt’s charity partner is St Luke's Hospice - a wonderful palliative care provider, which is based in Winsford, Cheshire, and supports people from the moment they are diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
As a company we organise a large-scale charity challenge each year, to help raise money for St Luke’s Hospice and donate what we can to such a worthy cause.

In the last few years, we have completed the following charity challenges, raising over £20,000
Supplying a new electronic speed sign for the village of Warmingham, where our Brinefields are located, to promote stronger road safety through the village.
Providing samples of the different types of salt produced at the Middlewich site to Kingsmead School for a display about salt manufacturing in Cheshire.
Supporting a local GCSE student from the Grange School. Lauren had painted the Soda Ash silos which can be seen from the road at the Middlewich site. Having purchased the painting, it’s now proudly displayed at the Tata Chemicals Europe head office in Northwich.
Donating all our old first aid supplies to the Middlewich Scout group for practice during their first aid badge.
Sponsoring the Sandbach 10k running race 2018. As well as providing the t-shirts and the medals for the event, British Salt also donated bags of Tata salt which were well received by the runners as local produce.
